Importing a Case

To import cases that were previously exported from a different installation of NLG ForeSight, begin on the Case Management page.

NOTE: You must already have or create a receiving folder for imported cases before beginning this task.

  1. On the Go To menu, click Cases.

    -or-

    On the Home page navigation pane, under Case Management, click Case List.

  2. On the toolbar, click the Import Case link.

    The Import Case page opens over the dimmed Case Management page.

  3. In File Name, type the path and name of the file.

    -or-

    Click Browse to locate and select the file to import.

    Cases that can be imported have the .fse filename format.

  4. In Folder Location, select the folder in the list to receive the case.
  5. Click Cancel to cancel the case import.

    -or-

    Click Import Cases to import the cases.

    The Status section then opens at the top of the Import Case page and displays the Import Status and result of the import action.

  6. Repeat steps 3 through 5 for each additional case.
  7. When finished importing cases, click Done to close the Import Case page.
