Terminal Illness Summary Age

Enter summary age when Terminal Illness may occur.

Terminal Illness allows for the payment of a portion of the death benefit if the insured has an illness or chronic condition which can reasonably be expected to result in death 24 months or less (12 months in PA, CT, NY or VT). The benefit is the actuarially discounted value of the death benefit being accelerated less a pro-rata portion of any policy debt. All or part of the death benefit may be requested as a lump sum. There is no premium for these riders.

See Projected benefits on the "Accelerated Benefits Rider Summary" Report.
