Eric Sandberg

Eric Sandberg is Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Risk Officer of National Life Group. He joined in 2012 as Vice President and Chief Actuary and was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2014. In 2021 he was appointed Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining National Life, Sandberg held a number of risk and actuarial roles at Transamerica, Clark Consulting, and Great-West Life and Annuity. 

Eric is a Fellow in the Society of Actuaries (FSA), a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA), a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA). He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin in Actuarial Science and Finance and earned a Master’s in Accounting from the University of Colorado.
