National Life Agent Recognized with Do Good Award for Support of Community Resiliency

Montpelier, VT - (September 2, 2021) The Christmas Bureau of Clinton County, a nonprofit that “provides Christmas to low-income families” will receive a $7500 donation in honor of National Life Group agent Christopher Huchro of Plattsburgh, NY. 

Huchro was chosen as one of three winners from among 90 nominees for the company’s annual Agent Do Good Awards. The awards are given to National Life agents whose commitment to helping nonprofits in their communities stands out.

Huchro was recognized for his support of Santa Night over the past twenty years. His nominator wrote that Chris initiated Santa Night which includes recruiting dozens of volunteers who commit to securing donations within the community and then organizing a serenade of Christmas songs in local establishments to raise even more money for The Christmas Bureau. These efforts have resulted in roughly $250,000 to date.
