Montpelier, VT (November 15, 2022) - The National Life Group (NLG) Foundation has increased its budget by 15 percent, bringing the total to $2.3 million. This reflects the Foundation's growth and impact on the community.
The Foundation offers grants to nonprofit organizations primarily in central and northern Vermont and the Dallas, Texas area where the company has offices with a focus on ending childhood hunger and promoting young mental health. Applications for grants will be accepted from January 1, 2023 - March 31, 2023.
“This increase in funding is really great news for all those that the National Life Group Foundation serves," National Life Group Foundation President Beth Rusnock said. "A 15 percent increase in budget means we can support more causes and do even more good every day."
To be considered for a grant, an organization must be a public charity which is exempt from income taxes under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
