National Life Group Welcomes Donna Lasick as Controller

Montpelier, VT - (April 5, 2023) National Life Group (NLG) recently welcomed Donna Lasick as its new Corporate Controller.

Lasick brings 24 years of accounting and industry experience. Most recently she was with Global Atlantic and its predecessors for 16 years contributing in many ways including their transition to a public company, building their accounting architecture, providing financial assistance on a number of acquisitions and reinsurance structures, as well as executing core financial reporting responsibilities. Before Global Atlantic she served as Controller for the Reinsurance Group as well as spending time early in her career at Marsh Management.

As Corporate Controller, Lasick is a key leader of the finance team responsible for a staff of about 25 financial professionals overseeing the company’s financial reporting, corporate accounting, investment accounting, corporate tax, sales reporting and accounting policy. They will drive transparency and efficiency in all areas of the financial function, ensuring the company is taking full advantage of the best possible accounting and tax information for decision making within the company. Lasick will also represent National Life in interactions with state insurance regulators, outside counsel and auditors, the NLG Board of Directors, peer companies and industry groups.

A native Vermonter, Lasick graduated from Trinity College in Burlington.
