National Life Group raises over $22k for The Family Place

Montpelier, VT - (February 20, 2025) – National Life Group’s Independent Distribution sales team raised over $22,000 for The Family Place, one of the largest family violence service providers in Texas.

At their annual kickoff meeting, members of the team staged a friendly competition to support victims of family violence in both Dallas and Vermont, where the company has home offices.

“We aimed to create an engaging, team-building event that also serves a meaningful purpose—raising awareness and providing support for victims and survivors of domestic abuse in Texas, a cause that matters deeply to us,” Field Executive and VP of Independent Distribution Louis Puglisi said.

Since 1978, The Family Place has been a lifeline for survivors of abuse, providing safety, healing and hope. They serve around 40,000 individuals annually, offering over 60,000 shelter days and thousands of hours of counseling.

The Family Place also operates one of the few shelters in the Southwest for male survivors.

The event also raised a similar donation for Circle, a nonprofit organization in Vermont that supports victims of family violence.
