National Life Group Do Good Fest® has a strong close to the season at Levitt Pavilion Arlington in support of youth mental health
Dallas, TX - (October 15, 2024) National Life Group’s Do Good Fest® at Levitt Pavilion Arlington successfully raised $65,000 to benefit Parkland Health’s Pediatric Behavioral Health Program, reinforcing its commitment to youth mental health.
The event, which took place on October 12 and rounded out the Levitt’s 2024 season, featured an impressive lineup, including Texas country sensation Aaron Watson, along with Braedon Barnhill, Catie Offerman, September Moon, and Beats for Good high school musician contest winner Mason Moore, providing attendees with an unforgettable evening of music, food, and community spirit.
“Parkland Health Foundation is deeply grateful to National Life Group for their support of our Pediatric Behavioral Health Program,” President and CEO of Parkland Health Foundation Dr. Michael Horne said. “The funds raised at Do Good Fest will provide critical mental health services to children and families in need. This generous investment demonstrates the transformative impact of community partnerships in advancing healthcare, and we are proud to continue our work alongside National Life Group to ensure a healthier future for all.”
Founded on the principles of "Do good, Be good, Make good," Do Good Fest has become a staple of National Life’s community engagement efforts. This marks the third year of the festival at Levitt Pavilion, with almost a quarter of a million dollars raised to date for Parkland Health’s initiatives. Tickets were available for a minimum donation of $5, with additional contributions strongly encouraged to support North Texas children facing mental health challenges.
“At National Life, we believe in empowering our communities and supporting youth mental health through the transformative power of music,” said Beth Rusnock, President of the National Life Group Foundation. “We are thrilled to partner with Levitt Pavilion Arlington for a third consecutive year, bringing together great music for a meaningful cause.”
In addition to the musical performances, attendees enjoyed a vibrant atmosphere with food trucks, a vendor market, and community partners including Ozzy’s Truck and the Perot Museum of Nature and Science.
For those seeking a premium experience, Do Good Fest Texas offered a VIP option, featuring an exclusive air-conditioned lounge, open bar, elevated dining, a terrace overlooking the stage, comfortable seating, and complimentary swag bags. All VIP proceeds directly supported the Pediatric Behavioral Health Program at Parkland Hospital.
“Community engagement is at the heart of our mission at Levitt Pavilion, and we are delighted to continue our partnership with National Life Group in supporting behavioral health access for children in our community,” Levitt Pavilion Executive Director Letatia Teykl said.
